If you are traveling to India, then you should definitely visit Rajasthan. Quite hot in the summer, but it is a beautiful place where you can actually stay in Hotels that have been converted from Palaces of the yore, by the existing royal lineage..

The food is also awesome though you would mostly get Vegeterian fares. But the hotels serve all kinds of menu, and you should try the Royal dishes made from game birds and such like.

Jaipur called the Pink city is a place to visit, and few KMs from there is the Chowi Dhani where you will experience true Rajasthan..
